Host Families Needed

-Will your family be in Prince Albert or commute to PA from Monday to Friday from July 27-
August 24?
-Would your family like to experience having an international student in your home?
-Would you like to learn more about the Japanese culture?
-Would your family like to share your culture and traditions with a young person from Japan?

Global Partners is looking for host families in 
Prince Albert and area from
July 27-August 24, 2013

20 high school students from Japan will be in Prince Albert to participate in an 
Intensive English Program from July 27 – August 24, 2013.

These students will be taking classes at Rivier Academy on weekdays.  Evenings and weekends are free to spend with the host families.  Upon completion of this summer program these students will be attending school in high schools across the province during the next school year.

Third party liability insurance
An honorarium to assist with volunteer hosting 

An emergency line 

Host family and student support

An international student to love and enjoy

Definition of a family: A family for this hosting experience is defined as two or more related people living in the host home at the time of hosting.

      Families must speak English when the student is in their home / presence .

Host families are to provide: three meals a day, transportation to Rivier Academy on class days, (car pooling and other supports will be made available) preferably a private bedroom for the student, willingness to accept and integrate an international student into their daily family life.
